I am a tutor is fluent in Spanish and passionate about the language. I can work with any student, regardless of their skill level, on improving their Spanish language skills. I can also teach English as a second language. I received my degree in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. I've been tutoring students in Spanish since I was in high school. As an undergraduate student I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Peru for a semester, where I honed my Spanish language skills. After graduation I remained in Peru and served as an English and Spanish teacher through a local language center. I was able to teach students of all ages and skill levels. I also work as a medical interpreter in Massachusetts. Language is my passion, and I love sharing my passion with other people and inspiring them to pursue their language goals. By learning a new language you are learning a whole new culture. When I'm not working or teaching Spanish I like to read good books, stay active by exercising, watch my favorite sports, and listen to music.
